| I don't get to post very many pictures of my little girl Amanda. That's because she is now all grown up. And Married. Wow. Where did all that time go? Those of you that know me or visit my site often are so used to my ravings about Emily (my five year old). Well, if I would have had a blog when Amanda was young, there probably wouldn't be anything here but pictures of her. She was born when I was just twenty-two and if feels like we grew up together. We are particularly close. There is no way I can ever describe just how much I love her. Last year, I knew she was going to get married within the next year so I took her on a vacation to Yellowstone. I figured it would be the last time we would go on vacation together because she has a husband now and it's time for me to step back and let her live her own life. Imagine my pleasure and surprise when I got to take her again this year. We went to California and Nevada. It was for me, the best vacation I ever had. Just she and I. So now I think that trip will be our last alone together. How lucky am I. I got to spend two vacations in the some of the most beautiful places in North America with the most beautiful person in the world. Could life be any better? |
