| My daughter Amanda and I recently visited California on a tour of National Parks. The day we visited Sequoia National Park, the weather was about as strange as you could imagine. In parts of the park it was cold and partly cloudy. In others, it was rainy and cold. There was also the thickest fog I have ever seen in still other parts. This image was taken right next to a Giant Sequoia we had stopped to photograph. I heard the truck approaching and thought it might be cool to see if I could get it and the fog in an even exposure. I think it turned out alright. I used my new Canon Rebel T1i. I never got around to finding the money to purchase a new pro DSLR but I have always believed it is the artist that captures a scene and the camera is a tool. No more or less. Anyway, it is a really nice camera for the money. |
