| Imagine my surprise a few weeks ago when I was photographing Dante's View in Death Valley National Park and realized that this location was used for the establishing shot of the Mos Eisley Spaceport in the original Star Wars. Of course, they added a few buildings out in the desert but it is almost identical to my shot. I am a huge fan of Star Wars so when I got back to my hotel, I just had to Google it and see how close I had been to getting the same view. I was very close indeed.
