| I couldn't wait to get home today and see this image on the Mac. I was not disappointed. This is absolutely one of my favorite images I have ever taken. I got bored when I got home from work and it was still so light out, so I decided to take a drive out into the country and see what I could find to photograph. I went all the way to Ft. Payne Alabama and didn't take that many images. Then I saw an old house that I have never seen before. I photographed it for several minutes and after I was through, I decided to continue down the road the old house was on. I drove for twenty minutes or so and stopped a few times to grab some sunset images. And then I saw this scene. The light was beautiful and I wasn't sure if there was enough to properly light everything I wanted you to see. Turns out that it was almost perfect! I hand held and shot about a half-stop underexposed just to get this. I love it. Let me know what you think. |
