Rock of Ages... Keeps Eroding - Saturday January 24, 2009 01:59 pm
I was about to head out for the day and I wanted to post something for you since I haven't had the chance to do so this week. I looked through the images I always intended to post but either forgot about or never got around to posting and I found this one.

I have debated so many times about posting it. I love it and hate it at the same time. I was going for something more along the lines of a seventies rock group album cover. You know, a Styx or Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin obscure rock in the field type of thing. I don't think I quite got it. Hence, the hate.

However, as a photograph standing on its own merits, I like it. It was taken on the northern side of Yellowstone National Park. These stones were deposited here by receding glaciers, which makes it col in my book.

So, enjoy it for what it is, and remember what it was supposed to be. Either way, it belongs to the world now.
